Film

Slides

  • Your memories on 2 archival-quality gold DVDs or a USB
  • DVD includes a slideshow movie of your slides in sequence provided (each slide will be displayed for 7 seconds)
  • 12-megapixel JPEG image file of each 35 mm slide (smaller slide formats may be scanned at lower megapixels)
  • A Digital Copy in MemoryCloud for Download and Copies

Digital Media (Warehouse Only)
Digital Media Transfers must be uploaded in person at a Photo Center kiosk.

  • Your memories on 2 archival-quality gold DVDs, 2 Blu-ray discs or a USB
  • DVD includes a slideshow movie of your digital images and videos by creation date or filename (each image will be displayed for 7 seconds)
  • A Digital Copy in MemoryCloud for Download and Copies

Video transfers will preserve the quality of your video footage as it appears on the tape. Footage will not be enhanced, but for VHS transfers, the digital file will typically be captured at 720x480 (same as MiniDV) which is higher when compared to the estimated VHS resolution of 333x480.

Film transfers may slightly enhance the footage with more vibrant colors and reduced scratches, dust, and lint from the film surface.

Photos transfers will preserve the quality of your photo as it appears on your print.

Slides transfers may receive slight color correction based on the image.

Digital Media to DVD transfers will create a 720x480 resolution slideshow movie.

Digital Media to Blu-ray transfers will create a 1280x720 or 1920x1080 resolution slideshow movie. Resolution will depend on the resolution of the original media.

You will receive email notifications once your order arrives at our processing facility and once your order has been shipped. You can also check the status of your order by using our Order Tracking Tool . On this page, you will be asked for your last name and order information. If you have additional questions, please contact Customer Service .

For the latest status of your shipment, track your package on the UPS website with the 18-digit tracking code on the UPS label that was used on your shipment.

You will receive an email once your order has been shipped from our processing facility and is on its way back to you or when it is ready for pick-up at Costco Photo Center.

To use our Order Tracking Tool , you will need your order number, phone number, or email address. If you are unable to find your order using our tool, please contact
Customer Service .

If you have any questions about your order, please contact Customer Service . Please note we cannot cancel or adjust orders that have already been placed.

Your original media and containers will be returned with your completed order.

Note: Movie film will be cleaned and spliced onto new 7-inch plastic reels supplied by Costco. Your original reels will be returned empty.

If your order was not processed, it might be due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • The content contains copyrighted material
  • The content contains illegal or obscene material
  • Your media is not in a format we are able to process
  • Your videotape required repair for transfer and we were unable to get in touch with you for permission to proceed
  • The quality of the tape or film was so poor that we could not process it
